Let's be real
For most people, politics doesn't matter. Results do.
It matters when people can't afford to go to the doctor. It matters when they can't find a job, and if their unemployment payment isn't enough to keep the electricity connected. It matters when their kids have to leave the state to find work. It matters when the local school has asbestos in the roof and no insulation in the walls. That stuff matters.
People just want that stuff taken care of. They want to be treated with respect instead of ballot paper stuffers once every three years.
They've got to count even when the votes have been counted. Politicians don't matter. The ones who elect them matter. They're the ones I'm here to support.
