We’ve got to get serious here

When the head of ASIO is telling us that we’re under threat like never before, we need some leadership to call out what’s happening and demand we do something about it.

I’m taking this head on. Are you with me on this? Chip in to help fuel this campaign.

We must have a senate inquiry into China's influence on our political system

High rollers flying in on private jets, to gamble in Sydney and Melbourne’s casinos, without a visa, without their bags being checked, and with allegedly moneylaundered cash.

Government-backed Chinese companies being blocked from building mobile towers in Australia because of fears they’ll use that power to spy or sabotage our cyber security.

Billions of dollars of cash flowing in from government-backed Chinese investors buying up our prime agricultural land, produce and water rights.

While the people in our Parliament line up to talk about how great a friend we are to China. It's reported that Chinese hackers are infiltrating out Parliament's computer network.

Their money buys off our politicians and political parties, getting candidates with suspect backgrounds preselected, getting our foreign policy changed, even corrupting our elections with illegal donations.

Ways to take action:

Don’t doubt it. Money talks, and it’s filthy

It’s not just embarrassing: it’s dangerous. And neither the Labor Party or the Liberal Party support doing anything about it.

I want a full, sweeping Senate inquiry into the extent of China’s influence on our political system. And Labor and the Liberals are blocking it. If they don’t budge, we’ll never know the full extent of this problem. That’s why I need your help. Let’s budge them.

Goal: 5,000 Signatures

3,966 Signatures

Will you sign?

This petition calls for a Senate inquiry in China’s influence on our political system and will be tabled in the Australian Senate.

To the Honourable President and members of the Senate in Parliament assembled:

The signatories of this petition ask that the Senate supports a comprehensive Senate inquiry into the extent of China’s influence on our political system.

It's in plain sight...

Gambling money trumps national security

The Government got caught out last year for letting Chinese high rollers into the country with weak security checks. Until 2016, Australian Consulate staff fast-tracked visa applications from wealthy clients visiting Crown casino. Law enforcement have turned a blind eye to allegations that the casino was facilitating money laundering and organised crime for years. Who knows what’s going on now?

Chinese tech firms are lobbying the PM

The Government is so concerned about Chinese spying that they’ve blocked companies like Huawei from providing a 5G network in Australia. That’s a start, but the UK is already giving ground on a similar ban, and we know that lobbyists in Canberra are looking to weaken the restrictions. We need to put pressure on the Government to make sure our security is protected.

We’re selling out our security

We’re selling out our security

We’re flogging off our land and ports

Did you know that over 25 percent of Tasmania’s agricultural land is foreign owned? Our fisheries and farms are being bought up. Prime agricultural land is being bought up. Across Australia, we’ve sold off everything from our ports to our infrastructure. We’re so economically dependent on China, the major parties have turned a blind eye. The tiny steps that we’ve taken don’t nearly match the scale of the problem.

Top security experts in Australia are getting really worried

The former head of ASIO has said that we’re running the risk that Australians could “wake up one day and find decisions made in our country that are not in the interests of our country.”

This is an existential threat to our society. And Australians are scared. They’re scared that our country is being bought up. They’re scared that their democracy might no longer represent them.

I just want the Government and the Opposition to be honest with people. That’s all I’m asking. Just be honest about the scale of the problem, and start working together to fix it. Because at the moment things are getting worse.

Will you help me tell the truth?

Both major parties have shown that they need a big bright spotlight pointed at them. Dodgy deals that aren't in Australia's best interests are already going on.

I'll help you hold them to account
